Wet Monday

Our morning walk felt quite fresh.  Managed to stay dry though.  Rain began as we arrived home.

The market was quite empty.  Poor Kevin one of the stallholders was ill today.  Last week he had to go to hospital for stomach pain and was on morphine, he informed me.  Hopefully he'll get a diagnosis and treatment soon.

Took hound for a second walk in some patchy sunshine before rain returned.  Then spent a pleasant afternoon drawing.

Sad news about George Alagiah, even though his cancer was terminal.  Sixty-seven is no age.  Tributes have been very moving.  

Seem to be hearing about deaths this week.
