Ragwort

The ragwort was zinging today and caught my eye on our dog walk.

Managed to get a washing load dry today.

Sat in the garden and enjoyed watching butterflies on the buddleias.  A couple of peacock butterflies joined the the red admirals.  And a holly blue landed on an osteospermum flower.  They move too fast to blip.

Hound was restless late afternoon.  I was reluctant to walk him as the temperature was about 24°.   If he's not walked his energy finds mischief.  So I took him out keeping to shady spots as much as possible.  By the time we got home he was worn out and hot.  He flopped on his bed where I squirted his body and paws with tepid water.  It wasn't long before he was bouncing around like Tigger.  And then he flopped again on the living room floor.  It's like a child refusing to acknowledge their exhaustion for fear of missing out.

I watched a good Greek film on Netflix last night, Green Sea.

Pleasant evening everyone.
