Hello Andorra

A dawn start for a long day. Up a super alpine valley past cows, horses, lakes and an unusual high mountain refuge perched on a knoll of rock. The last part of the ascent was a truly horrible loose steep scree slope. I met one GR11 hiker going the opposite way. Then over the top, bye bye Movistar, data roaming off, and what a surprise! I found myself being endlessly overtaken by gung ho runners descending in a mountain race. One of marshals told me there were 400 - it felt more like 4000 as they just kept coming. After that I had another shorter but still steep col that I did fuelled by a magnum ice cream and Fanta before finally arriving for a super evening staying with friends of friends and being looked after wonderfully.
