Normal Service
.... appears to be resumed. A nine hour shift chef-ing in Aber Cafe followed by a nice drive to Birmingham and no noticeable dip in energy levels during the day. I did get to sit and eat in a belated break at work which was good but otherwise it's been a get-up-and-go kind of day :-) The first day of peak summer service saw a good level of business all day, mostly keeping all us busy. Four staff for the busy days which really helps (only 2 on quiet days) and we think the first time it's been four men in the cafe.
Good to see Ruth who is feeling a bit better after a return of her gut issues in recent weeks. More tests being done. I'm here for 24 hours and collecting Bella in the morning so another busy one to come.
Kohleria AN's Nagging Macaws - what a name! AN are the breeders initials. Smaller flowered than some of my other Kohleria but interestingly marked and I love the way the hairs shine in the sun coming in behind them.
