Discovering Delhi!

We spent the morning on a fascinating walking tour of Old Delhi then had a veritable feast of a lunch at the beautiful home of our guide. Don’t let my picture fool you - behind these streets there are some amazing homes, temples, restaurants and shops. Definitely many hidden treasures here!

We also had rides on both a rickshaw and a tuk-tuk, which felt surprisingly safe, considering the absolute insanity of the drivers here. There are no rules whatsoever, all I can suggest is google ‘driving in Delhi’ and watch a video!

We visited all the major historical sites in the afternoon then went to the huge market next to our hotel this evening. Such a vibrant city, never been anywhere like it before.

Absolutely shattered but looking forward to the next stage of our holiday tomorrow.
