Chilcomb
This morning we joined a group from Winchester GoLD (group for adults with learning disabilities) on a walk around Chilcomb, a hamlet on the edge of Winchester, and on the South Downs Way.
The highlight was having a picnic in the grounds of St Andrews Church, and then being able to look inside the 11th century Norman Church. We also did a nature I -Spy as we walked the foot paths looking for flowers and butterflies.
This afternoon I popped into my mother's care home where they were doing a very difficult history quiz!
Tonight, Elgar's Enigma Variations in the early Proms concert. Now waiting to listen to the late night prom with the brilliant young organist Anna Lapwood
