P found this among some old papers he was sorting out. I'm not sure how old J was when she wrote about the "important people" in her life at school: computer access was not available to her until she was perhaps nine or ten, and remained very limited and laborious. Much better devices and software are available now. We all laughed, wondering about her parents' place in the domestic pecking order.
