JR came over with her grandchildren and we drove over to Beeston canal and heritage centre. Had a nice lunch sitting outside in their sunny garden, watched a couple of canal boats going through the lock and walked along the towpath to the nature reserve. It started to rain a few minutes before we got back to the car and then poured on the way home. A and I really wanted to play with the kittens when we got back but J had brought the dog with her . They went upstairs to hide under the bed and wouldn’t come out!
