Keen walker

I have worn Keen sandals for years, replacing them every five years or so when they give out. They protect the toes and have fantastic soles so you can go anywhere in them. So, when I was thinking about a pair of shoes for knocking about in, I decided to try a pair of Keens. So far so good. In other, more interesting news, we cleared the living room ready for our new gas stove and watched Hitchcock's 1935 film, The 39 Steps with Harv. It was fascinating to see the birth of the thriller with themes and scenes that have become common features of countless films since, including the latest Mission; Impossible film.
