Beer is proof God loves us...

I'm not so sure that my teetotalling parents would actually agree with this statement attributed to Ben Franklin. They were pretty convinced that this was a social evil not in any way connected to God's love.

Nevertheless, beer is a big industry in Colorado. This photo is taken in Golden, the home of the famous Coors brewing company. On the wall is a poster for Fat Tire, a very popular brew from New Belgium up in Fort Collins. Moreover, there are more than 140 microbreweries in the state of Colorado, many producing rather tasty brews, or shall I say, expressions of God's love.

This good looking dude hails from New York; he had travelled here via the West Coast to attend a concert at Red Rocks. He was blown away by the experience, but sadly his car is in the hospital for repairs. Good thing he brought his bike - plenty of mountain trails to ride.
