The impact of yesterday's exhibition was apparent as my eye was drawn to people. Perhaps that's because I'm tiring of buildings? Although when they are so magnificent I can't believe I am.

The Duomo in Milan yesterday and another trip up to the very tops to marvel at the floating sculptures, the gargoyles, the marble, the columns.....yet whilst people busied around them these two sat doing what children do, delighting in a simple universal game, rock paper scissors. I couldn't take my eyes off of them.

Bruce at Monza was an operational cluster %£@#. The performance itself was so much better than the Vienna show. We were standing which always makes a difference, I sang and danced throughout. I think I softened from the last gig too. We left with 3 songs to go to avoid getting stuck. We could still hear him on our route march out. My man is happy, Bruce and his ontourage passed us on route. He was within a metre of his hero.
