Stuffed

Oh boy, today has been seriously wet. I had to nip into Bantry to get the stitches removed on my leg. They put up a fight. Ouch. I had to hold the magnifying glass cum light whilst the nurse wrestled. She was not impressed with the surgeon - stitches way too tight apparently. The scar looks very Frankenstein and has now been covered with a soothing manuka honey dressing. Whilst she had me, she took the opportunity to pump me full of B12, sort out an appointment to take more blood and monitor blood pressure. Phew.
Other than that Himself has now packed up and posted 97 books, the post office woman remaining calm and collected. Another 8 are waiting to go to all the major university libraries,  a legal deposit apparently.

And Mick Jagger is 80  - can that be possible. Here he is in his prime in that glorious white dress thingy - Hyde Park 1969. I was banned from going but my boyfriend went, how cruel is that. Actually a wise decision, I'd have probably expired!
