A lovely sunny morning, for a change, enabled the lawn to be cut before heading down to the station to attend to our new platform planters. This ramp to the platform was designed and built by the Victorian Great Western Railway company. It is, apart from the handrails and fragile roof sign, virtually unchanged. In the booking hall across the bridge the future of a human selling tickets now hangs in the balance. In my view a very detrimental step if they all close.
