Summer garden

Not so bad today! The summer flowers are opening in the border and there are bees and butterflies!
I had a look in the beehives and collected some frames of honey to extract, though the bees weren’t very impressed and tried to get it back! Ouch!
In the extra is the wonderful Buddleia that I grew from a cutting from Sheila’s Kendal garden before she moved to Scotland. It’s developed into a really fine shrub and plenty of butterflies today. I think I will take some cuttings this year just as a precaution against severe winter weather!
