shopping. In a library of all places. Mini M needs the technical manual of all things metal for school in August.  The old edition on his booklist has to be found second hand. Hopefully the woman at the desk can track them down. 

Managed not to get soaked in the torrential downpour. Delivered a parcel to a neighbour before we are off. 

Took M out for a celebratory burger. The waiter helped me not to tip too much. I find tipping and haggling really tricky. I think it's the British politeness.
