Picnic blanket

Hiking again, without the dog, in between showers (yeah!), I of course noticed things people leave behind.
In this case a picnic blanket. At least that's what I think it was used for, but it might have been just a blanket.
I have no idea why people leave a picnic blanket behind. Were they unhappy with the view? With the weather, with the (little) traffic 10 metres away? Or did wasps disturb the peace? We will never know.
To their excuse: trash bins are not very common in the middle of nowhere. But I would not accept that excuse and still get them a fine for littering :)
