I mended this for Rafe, our children always used to say ‘Dad will mend it and Mum will knit it!’ So I suppose it carries on. Grandpa fixes things but Granny knits or sews things mended. The head had almost come off, my Mum used to say stuff was sewn on with spit! Well! Not sure about that, but it had one continuous stitch and there was no knots or proper stitches, hopefully Rafe will be happy with it. His demand was that I had it ready for when he goes on holiday - well it’s well and truly done in time. We may go out for a walk later, but it’s been drizzling all day on and off, but it’s meant to stop later.
