Raspberry and Cinnamon Torte
We had some old church friends of ours here today for a light lunch. We chatted for ages, and caught up on each other’s news.
The Traveller took a couple of hours off and joined us over lunch as well, keeping them amused (or should I say bemused) with his explanations of probability theory and some rather abstruse game strategy. For example, did you know that if there are 23 people in a room, there’s a 50/50 chance of at least two people having the same birthday, which becomes a 99.9% chance if there are 75 people in the room. I’ve always found that statistic quite amazing, but it’s the truth.
This was the raspberry and cinnamon torte that I made for dessert, which I served warm with the raspberry sauce and cream.
