Hosta

Before the hosta is entirely devoured by the snails and slugs I thought I would get a picture of it in bloom.  From the other side the leaves are more hole than leaf so I am sure it is a matter of time!

Its been a nicer day than forecast.. reached 23C with sun and cloud with a breeze.. lovely!  I spent part of the day finishing my shirt.. all done and no more dramas! (extra) I enjoyed the pattern and will look out for different fabric for the next make.  I used double gauze which is beautifully soft but also a little too warm for a summer shirt. It may be perfect in Scotland so will look for a nice cotton or linen to make another one
