From my bedroom window

Had great run from Zamora to a little village about 30 minutes from Bilbao.  However I hadn’t read the small print and found I could only get in at 4 pm.  The owner directed me to a local restaurant where I had the most delicious ‘menu of the day’. The staff were amazing - so friendly and helpful, and the food delicious and great value.  We have lost a lot in our country in the sheer joy of eating together.  There were families, four elderly men, many single people - all united in this daily, and very enjoyable, ritual.
