This Lily was trying to get a bit of light - so I removed the huge leaf that was covering it (along with a load of others and as much Parrot Feather as I could reach without falling in.
I am going to have to try and see if I can get some planks and lie them across the pond to reach the stuff in the middle (I think the pond is deeper than my wellies are high .... and I suspect the bottom would be rather slippery).
