Like A Light-switch

The plan had been to do some gardening today but the rain has been on and off all day ... no gradually build up or easing off - just 'ON' and 'OFF' and when it came on ... it really came on! 
It was only very 'sharp edged' - at least twice it was  bucketing at one side of the house and not a thing at the other.

So, I ended up in the garage having fun with bits of wood whistling past my ear on more than one occasion.
I ended up with 2 wee dishes made from one piece of wood (Lilac) with had a split down it and a lidded box from another bit of Lilac and a bit of Cherry. 
The colouring in of the decoration on the spinning top  isn't great ... but it spins well.
