Eagle River and Lake Superior

It was another cloudy day with misty rain but we did some exploring none the less.  In fact, one of our stops was to visit an old copper mine which was pretty cool.  Taking pics in the dark environment was pretty much worthless though without a tripod.  Still, I've included an extra of my wife to commemorate the visit here on the blip.  

Late in the day when we were back at the house, the sun popped out so I went for a walk with the camera.  That's when I captured the main blip of the mouth of the Eagle River as it empties into Lake Superior. I like the serenity of this pic  I've also included an extra of the Eagle River Falls just a but upstream.
