Light It Up

It would appear that I missed the memo about fitting multicoloured lights to amps and drums! Though, as my amp is considerably smaller than everybody else’s, I doubt it would have made much difference to the spectacle you see in the picture (you can just see my amp hiding behind the drums.)
Due to the Bingo that always precedes our set when we play the caravan park, we had to do most of the setting up this afternoon as we’re not allowed to make even the slightest noise whilst the games are in process.
We did have plans to go to the Cumbria Steam Gathering today, but the need to set up after lunch rather kiboshed that plan. Hopefully the weather will not be as bad as forecast, and we can go tomorrow.
And despite setting up early, the one thing I never checked were my in ear monitors. If you look closely at the photo, you can see the receiver part charging up in front of the drum kit. After not being able to hear any vocals - or even my own bass most of the time during the first set - I’m hoping there will be enough charge to get me through the second set.
If not, I’m going to be very deaf tomorrow, sandwiched as I am between the drum kit and the lead guitarist’s amp!
