Green Veined White ( Pieris napi )

We needed to go into town to pick up the Lodge's laundry so we made a detour to drop off an item we bought for the Lodge.  The Lavender was alive with insects among them three white butterflies.  This one posed nicely for me while I changed lenses.  Why is it I always have the wrong lens on?
