Mixed weather and a hike

We had a truly excellent dinner last night - we had bubbly at home to toast Tommy on graduating before going to the restaurant, and then went on to the restaurant. The meal was so delicious that everyone was more than satisfied with what they ate - I had asian seared tuna with mashed potato and vegetables, it was so well flavoured and perfectly cooked.

It rained last night and this morning it was still raining. We were going to play golf early again but as we knew it would be raining we cancelled, and then rather went on a hike. When we left the apartment it was raining and I thought it would be a miserable hike, but when we started our hike at the top of the mountain it was dry. See extra for all of us at the start of the hike - I balanced the camera on a rock and used the self timer to get this shot!

The walk was very pleasant and we ended up at Wolfgang (outside Davos) where we ate lunch on the outside terrace. While we were eating lunch it started raining again, quite heavily, but by the time we finished lunch and walked home it was sunny once again. This image is of the path walking back down to the village, you can just see the boys in the distance.

It has remained sunny and so the boys decided to play golf with Gavin at 6pm. It was a bit late for me as I wanted to make supper and do other stuff.  I think it is a movie night tonight, just deciding what to watch.
