Another day of drizzle and heavier rain.

There’s not been even an INCH of sunlight today.

This plant in my garden is called Pieris. The leaves usually go through a red to green stage in early summer, but now some of the leaves are repeating themselves. They must be confused about the season, though currently it feels like September. I love the way there is a transition from pink to green on the same leaf.

Depressing news for Devon and Cornwall police - they appointed a new Chief Constable last Autumn. Now he is suspended because of questionable ‘sexual offences’ in his previous post, and new allegations since he’s been in Cornwall. When people are in such high power jobs I just don’t understand how they find time for questionable activities. I think he is suspended on full pay. I think the pay should be frozen until the outcome is known. If he’s ‘guilty’ then he shouldn’t get it at all!
