Doghailes

We took at short trip to Newhailes this morning (a national trust for Scotland property near Musselburgh) as they were holding a dog show. We were a little late for the Labrador meet up but still met plenty of dogs and Phin enjoyed having a good sniff around. We bought him a snuggle toy (see extras) and since we’ve been home he’s spent ages trying to get the treats I’ve hidden out of it.

There was a lovely cafe at Newhailes and we enjoyed huge baked potatoes for lunch. So huge that even now at almost 8pm I’m still not hungry for any dinner. Enjoyed walking round the estate and came across the Ice house which just had to be my blip today. Thanks to Marlieske for hosting DerelictSunday.

As it was still lovely and warm at 5.30, we took Phin over to Dalkeith for a walk through the oak woods. It was very quiet and peaceful.
