Apnesfjjellet Ridge

We returned close to where we were yesterday and then a bit more to the area around Stamsund, a traditional Lofoten fishing port, one of the extras. Our starting point was was Apnes with a steep ascent up to the grassy ridge, eventually. The view is over the “Ski Fjord” and the mountains that look so high and are in fact not much over 1300m.

We descended into Stamsund via ski trails (another extra) passing two lakes scattered with swans. Time for a quick exploration of the harbour, refreshments and back on the bus to Solvær.
