What a very wet day in Bath! Like many others, we took shelter from today’s unsummery weather, which led to a very happy hour in Toppings bookshop. It’s in a beautiful Georgian building, very light and spacious. From the gallery above, the globe lights looked quite ethereal as people entered below. Amazingly I managed not to buy anything, a rare win for my bank balance.
