Daylily Duo …

… open, with buds, close to our back entry, late on this very sunny afternoon.
I had considerable work pulling a number of quite large weeds that had grown around them—the patch is now much more attractive.

Marylee’s friend K stopped by for a short visit, and dropped off a pair of tasty pastries, just in time for my afternoon tea :) It was a lovely cool day—a welcome change from the recent heat and humidity.
