DAY TWO: Reflections

Today I met with a friend who is a social worker doing a PhD and visiting Melbourne on the same programme. We watched the sun go down, looked back at the city and thought about the transition we have made from clinical work to research. 

Overall, we shared a sense of excitement about the work and also discussed feelings of not fully fitting into either world at the moment.
 
My insider-outsider view can benefit both roles and it's useful to be mindful of my own position, where I hope there is space for both.
