My house

This is my house. It’s known as The Royal House and was built in 1925. I don’t think it’s had anything done on it since the 1950s. It’s very green inside. All the ceilings are green, the wood work etc.

I’ve made some progress with it which is nice. The point of this visit was to live in it to decide what I wanted to do and I’ve figured that out now. The next step is to get it all done.

Today I have cleaned, washed, slept and been to the mayors office to sort Wi-Fi at the house. No kitchen or toilet but I do have internet! Well I will tomorrow.

Tomorrow is an exciting day because our mattresses arrive along with a microwave, tabletop hob and a bbq. We will be able to eat hot food soon! I cannot wait! I have been surviving on pot noodles, bread, salad and fruit. Still no fridge but we will just shop daily so it’s not the end of the world. I have been buying cold water and frozen peas to keep the milk cook for my tea each day.

Tomorrow I also plan to start on the garden and downstairs of my house. I’ve been focusing on upstairs as that was easiest!
