Backlit

... was the challenge for this week's Mono Monday, with thanks to host Nickimags888.  There wasn't a lot of light around today, but it is behind Mr PP in this picture, and frontlit in my (colour) Extra.

The lads finished fitting our solar panels today and kindly left the scaffolding to dismantle and collect tomorrow so that we could use it to reduce the height of the magnolia. Otherwise, it would cast a shadow on the panels. A shame really as we discovered it was beginning to flower for the second time this year. However, I'm confident the poor tree will survive the pruning. No birds' nests, that's the main thing!

My favourite moment of the day was at Family B's house. Little Miss B wanted to set up her skittles as a bowling alley, and decided her mum's yoga mat would be perfect for the job. Mrs B wasn't sure where it was, but soon located it in the cupboard under the stairs, to LMB's happy cry of "Mythtewy lolved"! *

*Mystery solved!  Oh, how I love that child!!!

Her dear little brother has the sniffles (maybe teething again?) so was not quite his sunny self, although he tried hard to be cheerful and chuckled on several occasions. 

So there we are, and here am I, struggling as ever to stay awake and considering, as ever, an early night!
