Small Skipper #6

Went for a quick wander around Pickerings pasture early this morning when the weather was dull, but at least it was dry, which was more than can be said for this afternoon.  Not a great deal about, but did see this small skipper which posed nicely on this thistle flower. 
I'm fed up of this wet weather and the garden is sodden once again. 

Spent the afternoon doing admin whilst watching the final day of the Ashes - what a fantastic performance by the team, and a fitting end to a magnificent career for Stuart Broad.
