Happy Jack Hike

I got up to Happy Jack for a lovely hike this morning. It was just about 60 degrees up there in the Laramie Range. My main is our state flower the Indian Paintbrush.
With all the rain it is the lushest up there I have ever seen it for the end of July. The first extra is a cool little moth I spotted. I just had a friend help me id it. It is called the Police Car Moth. It was really pretty.
The second extra is a Sego Lily. They were all over the place. It was so cool.
The last extra is a picture of the sagebrush in the forground with some aspen in the background. The sage is what is amazing. It along with all the wild flowers is just growing and sprouting growth like I've never seen. It was a really nice hike.
I went into town and spent a few hours hanging out at one of the local parks. I had a little picnic and my book. Then I went and chatted with a friend for a couple hours.
Yep another good day :-)
