Raglan Castle

A beautiful sunny day - for a change - and granddaughter Amelia slept until 10.20am giving us a breather! Midday we headed to nearby Raglan Castle (Monmouthshire, South Wales UK) so she could run around and explore as she likes it at there and we haven't been for a while.

The extra shows her at the rear of the castle running towards me before making us climb the ramparts!. The main is the main entrance with Welsh flag flowing.

After a couple of hours here, we headed to Cwmbran Boating lake for its excellent play area. It was heaving! It appears people making the most of the sunshine before forecasted rain and thunderstorms tomorrow!
