A trial

Curtains for this window is not the easiest challenge. I can’t make up my mind what to have, so in the meantime I’ve gone for voile. I made it today and surprisingly I’m pleased with it. It looks good from the outside, better than in this picture. I’m waiting until it is dark to see how much privacy it provides. Will it be sufficient. 

A neighbour came round for tea this afternoon. She has had hip surgery recently and is making good progress. We had lots to chat about even though I’ve only known her since we moved here 3 months ago. We are hoping that the next meet up can be in the garden in the sunshine.
