Gardens by the Bay

We arrived in Singapore at 6 am a bit travel weary and were amazed at the transformation there has been since our last time here 18 years ago. It all seems so modern as we filled up our arrival details on iPads, were whisked off to our hotel in an electric vehicle and at lunch time a robot arrived from the kitchen to deliver our food !
We were so grateful to be given our room right away and slept till lunchtime!

With a lovely view of Marina bay from our room we decided to investigate the unusual Marina Bay Sands hotel - more like a ship on stilts , we walked there but took a taxi home as jet lag had set in !

Behind the hotel we visited the Gardens by the Bay and we loved all the amazing life size animal sculptures seen in the blip.
