Orchids

Today we decided to buy tickets for the Singapore hop on hop off bus tours, always a great way to explore a city .

We used one of the tours to take us to the Botanic Gardens where we hopped off - the highlight was visiting the the National Orchid Centre with its amazing collection of different orchids.

Orchids are big business in Singapore earning vast amounts of money - so do many other things according to the recorded commentaries on the bus !

It was difficult to chose which of the photos should be the blip - this one showed a few of the different colours .
