Loch Broom Day
We had a local day going to Corrieshalloch Gorge which is quite changed with its new NT visitor centre. We drove to Clachan a hamlet at the head of Loch Broom, which we are very fond of-and was great for our picnic. This was followed by a visit to Leckmelm Arboretum and gardens. We had not visited these gardens before and they were packed full of exotic large trees. Created at the same time as Inverewe Gardens, they drop down to give beautiful views of Loch Broom.
The weather has been pretty fair today with no rain and warm. We met our first midges though!
