Into the Mystic

Much to my surprise I got a thumbs up for all (yes all) of the birthday gifts I gave to the Current Mrs Creel this morning.  After visiting the care home (my Mum a bit disorientated today) I took CMC for a fine birthday lunch.  It would have been madness not to.
 
Invited Dougal (and his carer) out for Sunday lunch this coming weekend, sadly only to hear that he has yet another infection and is not too well.  Ach, and don’t you just know it, Davie slipped away, peacefully, mid-morning today.  He received such great medical care in Aberdeen, Kirkwall and at home. 
 
He’s had such a struggle, constantly borne with outstanding equanimity.  An honour to have known him.
