Ruth’s garden is growing lush after all the recent rain. Last time I was in Birmingham it was dry and these dwarf Cupid sweet peas had stopped flowering …. so all the wet weather must be doing some good!

Mum and I mostly dodged the showers on our journey, the onward leg to London done in just two hours justified leaving it till the evening.

Jamie’s train to Didcot cancelled tomorrow means a later start as he will be on the next one …. and it’s Didcot because busses replace trains from there this week :-/. Fingers crossed for no more issues with his oft revised journey home!
