Big Clouds

For the first time in a while we saw blue skies and fluffy clouds on this morning’s golf round. I managed to play reasonably steadily and ended up playing to handicap.

This afternoon I had an emergency trip to the optician to have a burst blood vessel checked out (no problem but a more thorough eye test required in a fortnight), a haircut and then a long phone chat with my old school friend John to hear more about his 70th birthday trip last week and how his recovery from his heart op is going - slowly but well.
