The ‘Weed Monster’

Today was a good day which left me almost immobile – poor old f***
 
Shopped in Tesco’s at 7am, then took the hound for a walk in the Well Head park before dragging grandson out of bed to help me move our pond (water feature).
 
The blip photo is of the blanket weed being removed from the Well Head pond/spring (St Peter’s Pool).  It was an amazing piece of kit, amphibious but propelled by tracks both in the water and on land.  He was taking large scoops of weed at a time then piling it up on the bank.
 
The extra is as far as we got with moving the pond.  A full half day’s work but Ollie had afternoon arrangements, and by 1pm I had well and truly overdone it and have been paying the price ever since.  Left thigh/hip may have to go to the doctors anyway, I’ll arrange to get it collected . . . :-))
