On a wing and four RR Trent turbofan engines.

We had a picnic lunch today at the the Campsie Glen viewpoint. 
Having eaten and got out of the car to dust the crumbs off the seats, we heard an aircraft engine noise, turned round and the view was as above. An Airbus A380 heading in to Glasgow Airport after a six and three quarter hour flight from Dubai.
The promised (threatened?) rain this afternoon failed to materialise so while MaggieD caught up with some garden tasks, I vacuumed out the interior of the car thus disposing of those lunchtime crumbs and a whole lot more. A job well done!
