On manoeuvres today.  Appointment with GP in Stromness.  Then to the book shop to spend a token.  I wasn’t tempted by Bella Emberg’s ‘Guide to the Romantic Poets’.  I bought a tome by Eugene Rogan.  No axe was supplied.  Only cyclists around Appledore will understand this.

Went in past to see Ailsa and David in Northside before popping into the Birsay Bay Tearooms to top up our cholesterol.
