The Turnstones of Herne Bay

Actually Hampton Pier, which is the 'quiet' end of Herne Bay away from the amusements etc. Jak is welcome on the beach here too, much to his delight.

There are many turnstones running along the edge of the water. They are such pretty birds, blending in perfectly with the pebbles.
