Frilly Blue Underwear

I did get some lovely pictures of the stunning peacock butterfly today. But I couldn't resist choosing this shot showing the underside of the Red Admiral - the bright red and blues just peeking out as though giving us a little glimpse of what we are missing above. And I do love the frilly blue trim around the edges.

It was wonderful to see so many of these lovely creatures at last - there have been so few so far this year.
