...Chobham Water Meadows rather than the Garden of Eden. I'm rather embarrassed to admit that all the times I have used the village car park I've never noticed this sign. I was actually taking a look at the area that has been earmarked for 8 electric vehicle charging stations in the car park. As the extra photo shows, the existing parking bays have been barriered off but, apart from a mound of earth, there is little sign of work having started to install the units. Still, good to see the facility coming to Chobham and without the controversy that has accompanied a similar development recently in Ambridge (apologies to non-Archers listerners for that reference). Today's good news is that I was contacted by the Eye Clinic and given an urgent appointment for 08.30 on Monday morning at Ashford Hospital.
